Sewing Classes
CLASS AND FEE SCHEDULE
October 2011 - May 2012
All sessions include 2 classes per month of 2 hours each plus one makeup day per month to accommodate absences and weather cancellations.
Junior dressmaker - Preteens
Beginner hand and machine sewing. Possible projects include winter accessories, lounge pants, bedroom decor and projects selected by students. Supplies are provided by students unless otherwise advised.
2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Beginner adult –Teens/adult
Beginner hand and machine sewing. Possible projects include home decor, patchwork/quilted items, apparel and additional projects selected by students. Supplies are provided by students unless otherwise advised.
1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, 6:00 - approx. 8:30pm
Designer II - Teens/adults
Intermediate level - Sewing from patterns, formal wear. Possible projects include introductory pattern drafting and restying, etc. Supplies are provided by students unless otherwise advised.
2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 6:00 - 8:00pm
Class fee for all other classes: $ 52.00 per month*
*When the class is filled with 4 students each month, everyone wins a $10.00 discount applied to the next month.
Monthly fees include personalized instructions in a small class setting PLUS some sewing notions. First month's fee is required to save a space. All continuing class fees are due at the first class of each month. Total payment is required for each month. In case of absences, makeup classes will be available.
Most project supplies such as fabric, patterns, thread and trim are not included in the class fee and required by each student according to project schedules handed out in advance. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine but machines are available if needed.
